In the midst of the closing of the Derek Chauvin trial, activists, organizers and community members continued to take to the streets to demand accountability and justice for George Floyd, Daunte Wright, Adam Toledo and all the other stolen lives at the hands of state agents. Protesters also demanded an end to “Operation Safety Net,” and the pseudo-military occupation of the cities.
